Lady Cats selected to 10-2A all-district team
 
Lady Cat senior Lauren Romines closed out her basketball career with a first team selection to the 10-2A all-district team.  Senior Morgan McKenzie and junior Tara Wescoat received honorable mention recognition as well.

Congratulations ladies on this honor.

 

 

Freshman girls bring home District Championship
 
The Callisburg freshman girls basketball team swept the district tournament last week, bringing home the district championship trophy.  The girls opened the tournament with a blowout win over Krum, 39-19.  In the second round the Lady Cats took down the Aubrey Lady Chaps 35-27.  They found the going a bit tougher in the final but in the end triumphed with a 30-28 win over Pilot Point.

Congratulations to this fine group as they add a second trophy to the trophy case following their district championship in volleyball.
